Growing Climate Tech in Victoria
Climate Salad received funding through LaunchVic’s World Class Accelerator Programs funding round to establish a team in Melbourne and run a Global Impact Incubator for Victorian-based climate startups.
The 12 month incubator will run four cohorts over two years. Each cohort will support at least 20 Victorian startups to receive one month of mentoring and workshops, after which, 8-12 startups will be selected to participate in the full incubator.
The incubator includes committed mentoring, an opportunity to join a trade mission to international markets, events, content, promotion, mentoring, peer-to-peer support, and investment.LaunchVic will also invest $800,000 into a fund Climate Salad will also raise from private investors and invest the funds into Victorian startups who complete the Climate Tech Global Impact Incubator.

Climate Salad's Global Growth Program (GGP) is a nine-month accelerator-style program for high-potential Australian climate tech ventures. The program focusses on providing access to investors, customers and mentorship for ventures to succeed on a global scale.
